Pharmaxis (ASX: PXS) today announced the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has adopted a positive opinion recommending the granting of a Marketing Authorisation for Bronchitol, clearing the way for the product to be used in Europe "for the treatment of cystic fibrosis in adults as an add?on therapy to best standard of care."	24/10/2011
company expects to receive definitive notification of the outcome of the reexamination of Bronchitol for the treatment of cystic fibrosis from the European Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use on the evening of Friday 21 October 2011 (Australian time). The Company therefore anticipates making an announcement concerning the reexamination by 8.30am Monday 24 October 2011.
