The Federal Court of Australia has found that Antares Energy Limited (Antares), now known as Blue Star Helium Limited, has breached continuous disclosure laws with ASX announcements made in 2015 regarding the sales of Antares' Northern Star and Big Star assets. Justice Banks-Smith found that Antares breached its continuous disclosure obligations and that former director James Cruickshank failed to discharge his duty as a director to act with the degree of care and diligence required.

The suspension of trading in the securities of Big Star Energy Ltd will be lifted from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 11 September 2019, following the release of a response to an ASX query.

The company requests that the voluntary suspension be effective immediately and remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 11 September 2019 or the release of the announcement.

The securities of Big Star Energy Ltd will be suspended from quotation immediately under Listing Rule 17.2, at the request of BNL, pending the release of a clarifying announcement and response to an ASX query letter.

The suspension of trading in the securities of Big Star Energy Limited will be lifted immediately following the release by BNL of an announcement regarding a placement.

The company has received subscriptions for 138,598,228 new ordinary shares at 0.5c per share to raise $692,991.14. The placement will be completed in two tranches. The first tranche of 65,875,000 shares will be issued using the Company's existing authorities under ASX Listing Rules 7.1 (32,775,000 shares) and 7.1A (33,100,000 shares) and the second tranche of 72,723,228 shares will be issued subject to obtaining the approval of shareholders at an EGM which the company plans to hold in July 2019. Mr Trent Spry, an executive director of the company, has agreed to participate in the placing by subscribing for 3,000,000 shares in the second tranche. Mr Spry's subscription is subject to shareholder approval at the EGM. Shares under the first tranche will be issued on 13 June 2019. The proceeds will be used to fund the company's expenditure at its Percy Creek project, the acquisition of new leases in the US and for general working capital.

The securities of Big Star Energy Ltd will be suspended from quotation immediately under Listing Rule 17.2, at the request of BNL, pending the release of an announcement regarding a placement.

Further to the Market Announcement released on Wednesday 6 June 2018, the suspension of trading in the securities of Big Star Energy Limited will be lifted from the commencement of trading on Friday, 8 June 2018, following effectuation and termination of a DOCA and recapitalisation of the Company.

Following the restructure and recapitalisation of the Company, the Company's securities are expected to be reinstated to official quotation as part of Group 1 at 10:00:00 am +/"Â 15 secs (+/"Â 15 seconds) AEST on Friday, 8 June 2018.

The convertibles notes (ASX Code: BNLG) of Big Star Energy Limited will be removed from official quotation at close of trading on Wednesday, 6 June 2018 following its suspension on Tuesday, 15 September 2015, in accordance with listing rule 17.3, and effectuation and termination of the DOCA as announced by the Company on 23 March 2018.
